EDENSURE CALLS FOR WET STOCK REVOLUTION
‘500 times a day’ campaign sets challenge for petrol retail industry
Edensure, pioneers of ES3, the most advanced wet stock management service in the UK, this month steps up its drive to save the petrol retail industry millions of pounds, with its ‘500 times a day’ campaign. The company is also calling for the UK’s wet stock management industry to fall in line with data reconciliation standards set by its ES3 service.
ES3 is a revolutionary wet stock management service – it records forecourt data approximately 500 times a day, providing owners and managers with the detailed information they need to tackle problem areas, from over-dispensing pumps to supplier tanks that consistently under-deliver. Crucially, ES3 equips owners and managers with the information they need to challenge suppliers and negotiate fairer deals, redressing the balance between independent retailers and oil companies.
As well driving sales of the new ES3 service, the ‘500 times a day’ campaign forms part of Edensure’s drive to lobby the wet stock management industry for higher standards and a better service for petrol retailers. Martin McTague, Managing Director of Edensure, explains:
“Other UK wet stock management providers are currently reading forecourt data at a fraction of the rate of ES3, meaning there is a huge gap between the unrivalled accuracy of our ES3 service and other, more established brands in the marketplace. We’re letting retailers know there is now an alternative to routine wet stock loss, and our competitors, that there is a new benchmark for the industry.”
The ‘500 times a day’ campaign involves industry advertising and a mail-out to almost 2,000 UK independent petrol retailers, with the message that Edensure saves customers on average £15,000 per year.
“The 500 times a day figure is a statistic we would like the petrol retail industry to get used to”, said Martin. “At the moment, forecourts in the UK are unnecessarily losing an average of £15,000 each, per year, that we would help them to save. If every forecourt were installed with ES3, we could be saving the industry millions of pounds. “
Edensure’s ES3 service is completely remotely managed. Customers receive easy-to-understand monthly analysis reports, which give a comprehensive breakdown of tank and dispenser loss and detailed delivery audits. The service retails at a monthly cost of £130.00 (plus VAT). Customers can purchase online at www.edensure.com or by calling 0845 226 8332.
